Im happy

I'm happy about everything. Shipping process, money value, boxing, quality and little duck :) Im so glad I got this motherboard and I wish I had done this upgrade ages ago.. My ender 3 pro did a huge step up.. it's quieter. I was having a problem with my bed levelling with the stock motherboard.. whenever I levelled the bed and ran a program bed level was failing more than 3-5 mm. With this motherboard for a month, I don't have a single problem.. Don't hesitate it's so easy to install. watch 1 or 2 YT videos and then happy days.

Met expectations

I didn't have huge expectations for this board. I planned on compiling and flashing stock Marlin, which I did, so I can't say anything about the software or software support.
What it does well:
1. The drivers make the stepper motors imperceptibly quiet.
2. Relatively easy to flash with Marlin. The suggested configuration in the Marlin repos works fine.
3. Most things are labeled better than the stock Ender 3 board.
4. It does fit in the Ender 3 with some brute force.
5. It seems to play nicely with OctoPrint.
What I think could be improved:
1. Not all the connectors are clearly labeled, nor do the connectors have pin 1 clearly marked.
2. Documentation could be improved. For the documentation that *is* provided, I had to hunt through several repos to get the answers I needed. Some documentation was only on websites, not repos. It would be really nice to have a comprehensive user manual. Some things were really hard to answer, like which fan ports are for what, and it took reviewing the schematic, the Marlin configuration, and MCU OEM data sheets.
3. I would like to see the manuals generated from LaTeX or something so that pull requests could easily be made to clarify the documents.
4. I'm not sure why, but it seems the steps per mm for the extruder were different with this board. I cannot say for certain this is truly the case, because I have an aftermarket extruder gear setup. I'm pretty sure it was using the stock configuration, though, before I switched boards. I suspect this is more likely my problem, though, not the board's.
5. While the board does technically fit in the Ender 3, it's very tight. There is definitely tension between the board, the screws, and the walls of the case.

Mainboard Replacement

Used the SKR Mini as a direct replacement for my OEM mainboard on a V1 Ender 3. For the most part when very smooth. Not exactly as per video but not sufficiently different. Knocked it back one star because one of the fan connectors needed to have a connector installed but the connector was not included. If it were then everything would have been included in the box, but as it was I had to go find a connector mid job. Flashed new marlin into it and that went without issue.
