Purchased SKR3 in the Spring of 2025 to upgrade my B1. After replacing the original SKR1.44 twice (once with 1.4PRO) printing was not reliable I kept getting stoppages on longer prints. Also I had upgraded to a direct drive high temp extruder and trying to get the SKR1.4 compiles to use PT100 RTD with the little adapter chip never worked. The SKR3 reads PT100 natively. The new stepper drivers are much quieter and the motors run much cooler as well. Very worthwhile upgrade.

Great board!
Bit of a head mess for me to get it setup, but once I was on the right path, haven't looked back, printer is working way hard than it was intended too and loving it!
Most people might think its a bit of a waste, but I ordered an upgraded Anet A8 Plus. Upgraded that as well and that was a solid platform for the motherboard and driver upgrade. What a difference, its all so quiet now.
