Best upgrade for your printer

I bought a new Creality Ender 5 plus, unfortunately thought the printer works great, the noise from the steppers is terrible as they are not silent stepper drivers.
On watching Kersey Fabrications video on YouTube I bought this mainboard the SKR mini E3 V3 and am extremely happy with the choice of mainboard. I also took advantage of a great offer from the Biqu online store and bought the TFT 70 touch screen.
Installation of both was very easy. The mini e3 v3 was a straight swap with only a slight check on polarity on the bltouch cables.
Initially I used marlin, but I wanted to upgrade to Klipper, this board is easy to upgrade and the support on bigtreetech website is first rate.
The ease of installing and using bigtreetech/Biqu products has encouraged me to upgrade another printer with a BTT Octopus V1.1, can’t wait to see how this mainboard can deal with extra stepper drivers. Unfortunately I have to wait as even though the Biqu website has amazing deals I cannot afford the stepper drivers yet. I am going for the 2209 steppers as they are a great all rounder and will be buying BTT ones as I cannot fault the quality.

updating Firmware - case sensitive!!!

Great replacement board, but there is one catch in flashing FW.

With Marlin v2.0 and above, the board becomes case sensitive. So once you upgrade the firmware to this version, the only way to flash again is to use all CAPS in the name of the new firmware. Instead of the default "firmware.bin", you need to rename it to "FIRMWARE.BIN" for the next upgrade to work. Be especially careful in a Windows environment with default hidden extensions. To rename in Windows, you must first rename it to something else and then rename it to uppercase letters (watch for the file extensions as they must be visible).

This is not a BTT bug, but something common to most 32-bit boards and new versions of Marlin.
