BIGTREETECH BTT PI4B Adapter V1.0 – CM4 & CB1 to Raspberry Pi 4B Form Factor for Klipper
The BTT PI4B Adapter V1.0 is a compact board-to-board adapter that allows Raspberry Pi CM4 or BIGTREETECH CB1 / CB1 eMMC core boards to function like a full Raspberry Pi 4B. It provides the familiar Pi 4B layout and interfaces, making it an affordable and space-efficient solution for running Klipper on 3D printers.
This adapter is ideal for users who want the power and software ecosystem of a Raspberry Pi 4B without the higher cost or larger footprint. Pair it with a BTT CB1 for a cost-effective Klipper host or with a CM4 for full feature support.
Key Features:
- Converts CM4 or CB1 core boards into Raspberry Pi 4B form factor (85×56mm mounting holes)
- Full 40-pin GPIO header for easy connection to 3D printer motherboards
- HDMI output support (via CM4)
- DSI/CSI ports available when using Raspberry Pi CM4 (not supported with CB1)
- USB, Ethernet, and other standard Pi 4B interfaces enabled
- Board-to-board connector for secure and reliable mounting of CM4 or CB1
- Designed specifically for Klipper firmware with pre-configured images available
- Open-source hardware with GitHub resources for schematics and manuals
Note:
1. The CB1 couldn't be connected to the PI TFT screen. The DSI/CSI port will only work while using CM4.
2. The PI4B should be used with CB1, CB1 eMMC or CM4 core board to run Klipper.
