BIGTREETECH Octopus V1.1 Control Board for Voron 2.4
Very fast delivery......
This is a great control board that I'm using for my Voron Trident. With fan connections up the wazoo, you'll likely never going to have any sort of issue with IO pins for various trinkets to add to your printer. All jumpers are "defaulted" to 24V which is perfect if you're building a Voron. All JST connectors are snug and secure, so no more accidental unplugging of a stepper here or there.
I don't quite understand what others are stating in their reviews as I found the documentation for the V1.0 board pretty much interchangeable with the V1.1 - and it's super easy to find on the BTT GitHub page.
Paired with a CAN toolhead board, I now have 4 stepper ports and drivers to spare, setting myself up quite nicely for a few experiments / mods for my new printer.
If I were pressed for a negative point on this board, the only thing I can possibly complain about is the CAN connector. I don't understand why it's an RJ45 connector as these don't really feature in any 3D printer I've seen. I can't imagine a 3D printing hobbyist would have this crimper in their toolbox, but perhaps that's just me. (With six various crimpers already in my toolbox...)
