An Innovative and Easier Way to Run Your Klipper

Manta M4P/M5P/M8P are born for Klipper running, they allow a direct installation of the BIGTREETECH CB1/Raspberry Pi CM4 to run the Linux system, then the Klipper.

The B1 core board can be directly mounted on the M8P motherboard.

Board-to-Board Connector

Designed with the same connector as Raspberry Pi, giving you a confident connection with all versions of CM4, and definitely, CB1 or CB1 eMMC. A screw-reinforced installation is available, too.

Compatibility & Extensibility

CAN Bus solution with Manta control boards.

Manta control board can be connected to water cooling kit.

btt manta is perfectly compatible with HDMI screens.

It could connect to ADXL345 via SPI port.

BIQU Microprobe can also be used with Manta Boards.

TFT35 SPI is a smaller sceen to choose to make it compatible with Manta boards.

The Manta board mounted with CM4 can work with a camera or monitor.

btt manta board can also work with other USB cameras.

•The HDMI, TFT35 SPI, and USB Camera can only work with CB1.
•The CSI/DSI port can only work with CM4.

A good board the instructions could be better

I bought the Manta M8P V2 to upgrade my Ender 5 Plus.
The board itself works very well — the functionality is top notch. I got it together with the TMC2209 drivers and the HDMI7 display, and both are a big improvement over my previous setup.

The included instructions provide the core information needed to assemble everything, but they can be a bit overwhelming and somewhat unorganized. For example, the driver configuration section is spread over several pictures with multiple red markings — I actually forgot to set the driver voltage bridge because of that. A clearer, more structured layout would really help here.

I also would have appreciated a dedicated section explaining the bed power connection — whether you should power it directly via the board or through a MOSFET. I ended up blowing a fuse because my heated bed drew too much current (I know the instructions mention a 10 A max output, but it could be made more obvious).

Overall, the performance and features are excellent, but the documentation could use some cleanup and clearer warnings for beginners.

The perfect printer board

I put the M8P + CB2 in my SV08. I basically retained the frame, gantry and toolhead (temporarily). The M8P is a fantastic board. 5 minutes to install from micro SD. Another 5 minutes to update all the packages. The board boots in about 2 seconds. Significantly faster that the OEM board. Highly recommended.

Awesome Board

I put this board in my K1 and couldn't be happier. I have 2209's and 2240's in it with a CB1. going to pick up more of these boards for other projects.

Amazing

Easy to set up and amazing performance

The board looks and feels "premium"

I haven't installed it yet but once I do ill do a one over and adjust my review from that point good or bad. I love the look and feel/ weight of the board. I paired it with the ezdrivers and my goodness I can't wait to get it setup in my project ender 5 plus. I'll have it paired up with a cm4 and controlling my other printers with it so fingers crossed it goes smoothly. Thank you BIQU
